STUDENT PRE-ENROLLMENT APPLICATION
Do you have a student who could benefit from our program? Please complete this pre-enrollment form. Coastal Shores Academy (CSA) is a free nontraditional public school option. The school has not been approved by a sponsor at this time. Once an authorizer has approved the charter, your student will be fully enrolled. Any K12 student in Charleston County can apply to CSA. If the number of applicants exceeds available seats, South Carolina law requires that enrollment preference be granted to students whose backgrounds directly relate to the school’s stated mission. In this event, students with a neurodevelopmental disorder will be enrolled first. In accordance with South Carolina law, students will be granted full enrollment following the completion of the required screening process. Students who acquire a seat through the lottery will have to submit the current IEP or paperwork from a medical doctor specifying the disorder. CSA will maintain a waitlist. All students are eligible.
